Dear international students,

Are you interested in learning about the rise and demise of National Socialism, especially Munich's distinctive connection with this dark chapter of world history? Then join us for a guided tour (in English) through the National Socialist Documentation Centre. On four floors the Documentation Centre presents the rise and fall of the Nazi Party, their crimes, the repressive policies enacted on Munich's population as well as the long-term consequences of National Socialism to the present day. It also shows various forms of resistance to the Nazi regime as well as victims who experienced expropriation, displacement and deportation.

The Documentation Centre has been open to the public since 2015 and offers a good opportunity to learn about Germany's efforts to come to terms with its difficult past.
