Dear exchange students,

besides from all the bars and parties, we would also like to introduce you to our beautiful city, its culture and history. Therefore, we want to visit the "Residenz" on Wednesday, 12th of April.

The Residenz in Munich was the home and seat of government of the Bavarian dukes, electors and kings from 1508 to 1918. Today it is an important museum in Bavaria and very much worth a visit. You can get the feeling there, how it was to live as a part of the aristocracy in the past.

We are meeting in front of Feldherrnhalle (at Odeonsplatz U3/4/5/6) at 3 pm and then are visiting the Residenz together . The exact place:https://www.google.de/maps/place/Feldherrnhalle/@48.141744,11.577341,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x479e758cd13679e9:0x28b0a18d08e64398?hl=de
The entrance fee is 7 Euro. A registration in advance is not necessary - just show up!

After the cultural program (at about 5 pm) we want to grab a drink with you in a coffee house nearby and top the afternoon off.

You can find the facebook event here:  https://www.facebook.com/events/235491510191303/

We are looking forward to seeing you and having a good time at the Residenz!
