Would you like to get in touch with the local community? Do you want to make a social contribution in your own scope? Do you want to spend time with German kids?
Then take part in SocialErasmus!
SocialErasmus is one of the international projects of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) – MESA is part of this network. The aim is to involve international students like you into social and volunteering activities in your host country. Even the European Commission is convinced of SocialErasmus. Our network was awarded the First EESC Civil Society Prize in 2011 by the highest political institution in Europe.
A main branch of SocialErasmus is Erasmus in Schools. So we provide you with the opportunity to do a lesson with German pupils teaching them something about your home country: a song, presenting a specific city of your country, talking about stereotypes of your country, a geographical quiz, typical traditions or customs of your country - whatever you like. The lesson could be held in German or English. The school Bertolg-Brecht-Gymnasium is really looking forward to you.
Curious about Erasmus in Schools? There will be a brief informal get-together on Monday 12th June at 8:15pm at the LMU (room will be announced later) for you to get further information and to help you think about what could be the topic of your lesson. We do not only look for teacher students everyone is welcome to do a lesson!
We encourage you to become part of this great project Every participant of Erasmus in Schools will get a certificat. And who knows, you might even appear in the next SocialErasmus video at http://
