have you ever wanted to party in a tram? Well, this is your chance! Thursday, 7th of June 2018 Erasmus Student Network MESA Munich has rented a private tram to drive around Munich and show everyone how Erasmus students party! After that we will continue at the club Call me Drellain the center of the city till the sun rises!
Be part of this unique event and celebrate your exchange semester with us! So, hurry up and save your spot in the legendary Erasmus Student Network Tram Party!
IMPORTANT! (1) FIRST OF ALL: BE ON TIME!!! The tram stops just for a few seconds and then we all will have to enter. It's really hard to join after!
(2) You can and should bring your OWN DRINKS for the tram ride! Nonetheless, it is your own responsibility to stay in an appropriate condition. If the bouncer denies your entry into the club because you are too drunk, MESA can't do anything about it.
(3) Moreover, due to risk of injury through broken glass, it is NOT allowed to bring glass bottles into the tram! Instead, please fill your drinks in plastic bottles!
The amount of participants is limited! FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE! There is NO registration necessary – just come to our Office Hours and save your spot!
the sudden change of weather gives you the perfect opportunity for some cosy movie nights! You feel like going to the cinema, but they only show the usual Hollywood blockbusters for exorbitant prices? You feel more like watching the original versions of movies and improve your language skills? Then come with Esn Mesa Munich to the u.kino LMU. It is LMU’s own cinema programme that gives also less known movies a chance. This semester the programme is composed of national as well as international movies about music! We will watch Berlin Calling (2008), a German tragicomedy about the drug addicted DJ and producer Ickarus (played by the famous German DJ Paul Kalkbrenner): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vV3UryWhvlQ.
Wednesday, 30st of May 20:00 pm (Beginning of the showing! If you show up early you even get a seat cushion). Room B052, Theresienstraße 37-39 („Mathebau“), right next to the Museum Brandhorst. 2,50 per ticket
Going out? Meeting some friends, everyone brings something to drink and afterwards you are going to some club. Just a usual night out….Not on our watch! So the time has come to crawl through the bars of Munich with about 50+ ERASMUS and international students. After jumping, walking or crawling through 3 different bars and an open air shot-up station, you’ll be able (or not) to shake what you got left on the dancefloor. . The price for the pub crawl is 12,00€ with ESNcard and 14,00€ withoutESNcard. As a lot of students want to join this legendary event, we have a registration system. So do not miss the highlight event and register here:
After you registered you can come to our MESA OFFICE from the 17th of May to pay right away and don’t need to wait for a confirmation mail. (Registration doesn’t reserve you a ticket, so hurry up and come to our office to secure your spot). Registration ends 22nd of May.

Oh boy, oh girl it just keeps going! After the memorable Berlin weekend trip-madness we are actually raising the bar even further.
Do yourself a favor and don’t miss out on this one because to use a totally worn out cliché pop culture reference, it’s going to be LEGEN - okay this How I met your Mother quote has been used to death, I’m so sorry for this – DARY!!!
Watch out here comes the weekend trip to end all weekend trips! The holy grail of weekend trips! The weekend where you finally go cliff diving in Croatia like that crazy guy on YouTube that you secretly admire. The weekend where you get to sit on the picturesque promenade of Pula drinking a glass of wine and making friends for life. The weekend where you’re flipping a steak on a BBQ while watching the sun set over the magnificent coastline…
Can you already feel this becoming some of the best memories of your exchange year? Can you feel it Mr. Krabs? If that’s the case then say yes to an amazing weekend in Pula. Say yes to life! Drop whatever you’re doing unless it’s like, really important and sign up at the link below. Spots are very limited so be fast!
To continue with the generic pop culture references:
We are gonna make you an offer you can’t refuse! All of this you get for just 115 € if you own an ESN card or 125€ if you don’t have it.
That includes everything: Transportation, accommodation for 3 nights, club entries! Don’t even ask what we had to the get this price down so low! Okay actually we had to file for bankruptcy. It’s horrible. Some of us lost their home because of this. We are trying to just keep on going and see the silver lining. Please make this count at least.

“Faust, A Tragedy” by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is considered the most important and most cited work of German literature. As part of the current Faust-Festival in Munich, we would like to invite you to visit with MESA Martin Kusejs production of “Faust” in the Residenztheater.
The play is about Faust, an erudite who is highly successful yet dissatisfied with his life. After an attempt to take his own life, he calls the Devil, willing to exchangehis soul for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures. In response, the Devil’s representative, Mephistopheles, appears. He makes a bargain with Faust: Mephistopheles will serve Faust with his magic powers for a set number of years, but at the end of the term, the Devil will claim Faust’s soul, and Faust will be eternally enslaved.
